National Whiskey Sour Day

Today is National Whiskey Sour Day. If you wanted to try your hand at mixing drinks, we have these books to help you with your new hobby. It's important to try out new things and hobbies because it keeps your mind active and it helps you relieve stress.

Did you know that in Gaelic, whiskey translates to uisce beatha or "water of life"? The "e" in whiskey comes from fuisce, which comes from uisce beatha. When the Irish monks spread whiskey around Europe, no one could pronounce uisce beatha, so they called it fuisce.

Remember to be responsible and not drive if you've decided to drink!

“Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough.” – Mark Twain
